There’s a project on Instagram that has become quite of a habit for me.
It’s #the100dayproject, a project that requires choosing a topic and sharing on Instagram a photo a day about such topic, for a little more than three months.
I have been participating in this project almost since its beginning and I always had the time of my life doing it. It’s my fourth year now and every year it’s better than the year before.
The first time I participated I chose a very simple topic: Italian words. Since images are a great help when learning vocabulary in a foreign language, I thought of associating a word with the pertaining image and the project had quite a success, so the year after I decided to do the same replacing words with Italian verbs.
Last year, I wanted to keep doing the project, but I was running out of image-word associations, so I decided to go for something different and selected Italian questions. This year, I decided to keep the same setting with a different topic: Italian idioms. Well, I am super happy to say that this last one was the most successful project I did!
I am really glad – and super grateful – because a lot of people commented on my posts or sent me direct messages to let me know that they found the project useful and interesting and that it was helping them improve their Italian or that it just sparked their interest in the language. Well, this makes this girl proud!
In order to celebrate this project and to thank you guys for your support and enthusiasm, I decided to host a giveaway; winners will get Be Italian For A Month, my 30-day virtual journey throughout Italian culture and way of life, one email a day.
Shall we play, then?
