You have been studying Italian for a while, you know all the grammar rules and have no issues in reading or listening but you still struggle when it comes to speaking.
You know very well that you cannot improve your speaking skills alone and that the only way to improve your speaking abilities is by speaking. But you don’t live in Italy and finding a way to speak Italian regularly is a bit challenging.
You have considered hiring a private language teacher to practice Italian conversation online via Skype or Zoom but it takes a lot of commitment and you live a very busy life. Your daily to-do list is endless and you simply cannot commit to one hour of Italian conversation at the same time every week.
Or maybe you still do not feel confident enough to speak Italian for an hour. Even if you have been studying Italian for a while, you still haven’t spoken it that much and the mere thought of having to speak with someone for an hour or so makes you feel anxious and tired.
Also, maybe you are a student of Italian and have a regular Italian teacher whom you practice your speaking skills with but you are traveling or going through a busy period of your life and need a solution that gives you the chance of not losing what you have learned without too much time or effort.
Well, I think I have a perfect solution for you.
Italiano Mordi e Fuggi is your way to practice Italian conversation.
Italiano Mordi e Fuggi is born from the experience of Pausa Caffè, the challenge I have created to help people overcome their fear of speaking Italian. Pausa Caffè is a one-month-long challenge that requires the students to answer a simple Italian question every day.
For this challenge, I use VideoAsk, a platform that gives us the chance to practice Italian conversation via asynchronous videos: I upload a video with a question and the student has to reply. The videos are really short, so they are not time-consuming at all yet still give students the chance to speak a little Italian every day.
Many students attended Pausa Caffè this year and loved it. A few of them asked me if they could keep using this system to practice Italian conversation and this gave me the idea of creating Italiano Mordi e Fuggi.
With Italiano Mordi e Fuggi you practice Italian conversation via asynchronous videos.
If you sign up, you get a video a day with an Italian question you need to reply to in either video or audio form (the choice is yours). Videos are short (never longer than two minutes) so that you won’t need much time to listen and reply.
Videos are sent Monday through Thursday not to overload you with work yet to give you a way to practice Italian conversation regularly. Weekends are free because relaxation is important.
Italiano Mordi e Fuggi lasts one month but you can purchase it every month of the year if you want. Needless to say, there are discounts if you want to purchase multiple months in advance. You can contact me at cinzia@instantlyitaly.com if you need more information about this opportunity.

What it is
It’s your way to practice Italian conversation at your own pace. It is a way to speak a little Italian every day without having to hire a language teacher or to commit to having an Italian lesson every week at the same time. If you still do not feel confident at speaking, it is a way to approach Italian conversation with baby steps.
What it isn’t
This is not a language course. You will not receive language lessons nor grammar lessons but daily videos with a question you need to reply to.
Do you want to read more about Italiano Mordi e Fuggi and also know why I’ve called the program this way? I wrote a blog post about it and you can find it here.
